Treatment with MLS & HILT Laser is safe. However, there are safety precautions that need to be followed in order to ensure safety. High Intensity Laser light can be dangerous to the eyes (even closed eyes); therefore both the patient and the clinician must wear safety goggles provided by the device supplier. As High Intensity Laser operates in at high power patients are asked about their sensations during the pain management treatment and possibly adjust the power according to the patients feelings.
